HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED

(12/17/2007) NEW HAVEN- The victim found shot at East Rock Park early Saturday morning, has been identified as 32-year-old Jeremiah Johnson. At 12:49 a.m. on Saturday, New Haven police were dispatched to the area of East Rock Rd. and Farnum Drive on a report of an unconscious person in the snow. Responding officers located Johnson suffering from several gunshot wounds. Johnson was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
